Executive Director -
James Ritchotte is the Executive Director of Climate Mayors and has served in this role since 2018. James is responsible for strategic direction of the network, including member engagement and partner collaboration, as mayors seeks to shape, advocate for, and deliver on an ambitious green and equitable economic recovery. In previous roles in both the public and private sectors, James focused on climate, clean energy, transportation, and grid modernization issues. Prior to joining Climate Mayors, James worked for GE, Alstom, Inc., the British Embassy, and Congressman Tom Lantos, a Holocaust Survivor. Throughout his career, James has engaged a diverse set of stakeholders across the local, state, national, and international levels in support of policies to advance the deployment of clean energy technology, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and increase resilience to climate impacts.
