Implementation and Community
City Climate Partnership
Cities are at the forefront of climate action in the United States. As drivers of progress and implementation, cities are uniquely positioned to deliver on the promise of recent federal climate investments to cut pollution, create good green jobs, and advance climate justice. Mayors and their climate staff are also leading voices for addressing the climate crises, connecting local communities with opportunities, and shaping federal policies to respond to the on-the-ground needs of cities.
Climate Mayors, C40 Cities, and the Urban Sustainability Directors Network (USDN) have partnered to support city-led climate action through effective deployment of federal climate funding at the local government level. Below, find resources produced by this partnership, as well as those from other actors working to support cities to maximize the climate benefit of federal funding.
