Americans are experiencing a time of turbulence and uncertainty. A dramatic restructuring of the U.S. government and the economy is underway and Mayors are the first line of response to address these challenges head on. Join the bipartisan network of nearly 350 U.S. mayors, demonstrating climate leadership through meaningful actions in their communities since 2014.

Mayors from across the United States are welcome to join Climate Mayors. There is no fee to join, by signing on cities indicate that they are pursuing actions to achieve an emissions reduction target, including:
1) Developing a community Greenhouse Gas inventory
2) Setting near and long-term targets to reduce emissions
3) Developing a Climate Action Plan aligned with the city’s targets.
